ANALOG

IT'S ABOUT TIME:

Master Free Time (MFT) is an accurate, cost-effective alternative to the traditional Master or Secondary time system. Based on 20 years of service to the school industry, the patented system has evolved over an 11-year period. The MFT Clock has the potential to revolutionize the school clock industry.

CHANGING TIMES:

Master Free Clocks can be easily retrofitted to most existing clock systems. Replace one clock at a time or the entire system or replace the mechanical workings of your existing clock with an MFT movement. Whatever MFT model you select, it will automatically spring forward, fall back and keep accurate time during power outages.

Master Free Clocks require no specialized installation technicians. With the simple setting instructions provided with each clock, your in-house staff can plug in or hard wire the clocks easily. MFT clocks have 'Auto Voltage Sensing' that allows operation on any ordinary single-phase 60 Hz circuit with voltages between 24 and 120 volts AC.

PERFECT TIMING:

Master Free Clocks run independently yet will stay within 15 seconds of each other per year. Just set the first clock to an accurate time source such as the Colorado Atomic Clock. As you install more clocks, set each one to match the first one.

Master Free Clocks use the 60 Hertz AC supplied by your power company as an accuracy source. Power companies monitor and adjust their output weekly and any corrections will automatically adjust MFT Clocks. This establishes 60 Hz synchronization on a continuous basis throughout your building or buildings.

Master Free Clocks have a Programmable Logic Controller microchip that uses the 60 Hz or battery power to calculate seconds to minutes and minutes to hours. It is programmed to automatically adjust for leap year as well as for daylight savings and standard time.

KEEPING TIME:

Master Free Clocks include a rechargeable battery and calibrated crystal that serves as a back-up system in the event of a power outage. The battery will keep your clocks running up to 60 days during any uninterrupted power outage.

(NOTE: If the clock system in the building is backed up by an emergency generator power supply the MFT Clocks may drift plus or minus, since generators are load dependant and not crystal controlled. A qualified electrician can overcome this.)

Master Free Clocks have a battery back-up alert system. The hands are programmed to stop for five seconds, then advance rapidly for 10 seconds, all in 10 seconds of real time.

$AVING TIME

Master Free Clocks are much less expensive than Master/Secondary clock systems: they are less costly to purchase; less costly to maintain; and they require no expensive service contracts.

Master Free Clocks can be purchased individually but if converting your entire system, volume discounts are available. Replaced clocks are then available as spares to support the remaining Master and Secondary system.

Master Free Clocks have a one-year guarantee and a two-year warranty.
